Hi is a place to create, organize, discover, and share things you care about through Flips.

We want Hi to be a safe and respectful environment for everyone. These Community Guidelines explain what content and behavior are not allowed on Hi.

These Guidelines apply to all content and activity on the Service, including Flips, text, images, videos, audio, links, and other content or interactions supported by Hi.

These Guidelines supplement our Terms of Use. If you violate these Guidelines, we may take action against your content or account.

1. Age Requirement

Hi is intended for people 16 years of age or older.

You may not create an account or use Hi if you are under 16.

We do not allow content or behavior that exploits, grooms, sexualizes, or endangers minors.

2. Respect and Safety

We want people to be able to use Hi without being threatened, intimidated, or targeted.

We do not allow:

  • bullying or targeted harassment;

  • stalking or threatening behavior;

  • credible threats of violence;

  • encouragement or glorification of violence against individuals or groups;

  • content promoting or instructing others to commit serious crimes or harmful acts;

  • hateful or discriminatory attacks targeting people based on characteristics such as race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or medical condition;

  • content that encourages or glorifies suicide or self-harm.

We may remove content or restrict accounts where necessary to protect users or the Service.

3. Sexual and Graphic Content

Hi does not allow:

  • pornography or sexually explicit content;

  • explicit sexual depictions or descriptions;

  • visible intimate body parts presented in a sexually explicit manner;

  • sexual exploitation of any person;

  • sexual content involving minors;

  • content that sexualizes minors.

Content involving the sexual exploitation of minors may be reported to appropriate authorities or organizations where required or appropriate under applicable law.

We also do not allow:

  • extremely graphic depictions of violence or gore intended to shock or promote violence;

  • content that promotes or depicts animal abuse, cruelty, neglect, or exploitation in a harmful or gratuitous manner.

4. Spam, Fraud, and Deceptive Behavior

Hi should not be used to deceive, defraud, or manipulate other users.

We do not allow:

  • scams or fraudulent schemes;

  • phishing or attempts to obtain another person's credentials or personal information;

  • impersonation of another person, company, or organization;

  • deliberately deceptive activity intended to cause harm or obtain an unfair benefit;

  • spam or repetitive unwanted content;

  • unauthorized advertising or commercial solicitation;

  • mass-created or automated accounts intended to manipulate the Service;

  • bots or other automated activity designed to artificially manipulate engagement or other aspects of the Service.

5. Regulated Goods, Services, and Activities

We do not allow content that promotes, facilitates, or provides links intended to sell or distribute illegal or highly regulated goods or services.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • illegal drugs and controlled substances;

  • prescription-only drugs offered without appropriate authorization;

  • unverified or illegal pharmacies;

  • firearms and weapons;

  • explosives;

  • chemical or biological weapons;

  • prostitution or sexual services;

  • escort services where offered for sexual purposes;

  • other goods or services whose sale or distribution is prohibited by applicable law.

We also do not allow content that:

  • promotes illegal gambling or facilitates unlawful gambling activity;

  • provides instructions for producing illegal drugs, weapons, explosives, or dangerous substances;

  • facilitates other serious illegal activity.

6. Intellectual Property

We respect intellectual property rights.

You are responsible for ensuring that the content you upload or share does not infringe another person's copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property rights.

We may remove or restrict content where we reasonably believe it infringes intellectual property rights or violates applicable law.

Please provide enough information for us to identify the relevant content and understand your claim.

7. Privacy and Personal Information

Do not publish another person's private or sensitive personal information without their authorization or another appropriate legal basis.

This includes, for example:

  • passwords or authentication codes;

  • government-issued identity documents;

  • private contact information;

  • financial account or payment information;

  • private medical or health information;

  • private messages or communications;

  • precise real-time location information;

  • other confidential or sensitive personal information.

You should also carefully consider the information you include in a Public Flip, because Public Flips can be viewed by other users and may be forwarded or reused by them.

Hi is not responsible for information that you voluntarily make Public or for copies of Public Flips that other users subsequently forward or reuse.

8. Account and Platform Security

You must not attempt to compromise, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to Hi or another user's account.

We do not allow:

  • hacking or unauthorized access;

  • attempting to obtain another user's verification code or account;

  • bypassing security or access controls;

  • reverse engineering or attempting to extract source code except where permitted by applicable law;

  • automated scraping or harvesting of information;

  • mass account creation;

  • bots or scripts that interfere with the Service;

  • other activity intended to compromise the security or integrity of Hi.

You should not share access to your account or verification codes with other people.

9. Public and Private Flips

Hi provides different visibility settings for Flips.

Private Flips

Private Flips are visible only to the creator.

Public Flips

Public Flips are visible to all users of Hi.

You are responsible for deciding what content to make Public.

Once you make a Flip Public, you cannot change it back to Private.

Public Flips may also be forwarded, collected, or reused by other users. If another user forwards or reuses a Public Flip, that copy or version may remain available within Hi even if the original Flip is later deleted.

For this reason, do not make a Flip Public unless you are comfortable with other users seeing, forwarding, or reusing its content.

10. Content and Conduct We May Restrict

We may remove content, restrict visibility, or take action against an account when we reasonably believe that the content or behavior:

  • violates these Community Guidelines;

  • violates our Terms of Use;

  • violates applicable law;

  • infringes the rights of another person;

  • creates a safety or security risk;

  • is fraudulent, abusive, or harmful;

  • threatens the integrity or operation of Hi.

We may also take action where necessary to comply with legal obligations or valid requests from authorities.

11. Reporting Content or Users

If you encounter content or behavior that you believe violates these Guidelines, you can report it using available reporting functionality within Hi or by contacting us at:

When making a report, please provide enough information for us to identify the relevant content, account, or behavior.

You should not use the reporting system to submit knowingly false or malicious reports.

12. Enforcement and Actions We May Take

If we determine that content or behavior violates these Guidelines, we may take one or more actions depending on the circumstances, including:

  • issuing a warning;

  • removing content;

  • restricting or changing the visibility of content;

  • restricting certain features;

  • temporarily suspending an account;

  • permanently disabling or terminating an account;

  • reporting suspected illegal activity to appropriate authorities where required or appropriate.

We may consider factors such as the seriousness and nature of the violation, whether it is repeated, the potential harm to users or others, and applicable legal requirements.

We do not guarantee that every violation will result in the same action or that we will detect every violation.

If your content has been removed or your account has been restricted, suspended, or terminated and you believe this was done in error, you may contact us at:

Please include your account information and explain why you believe the decision should be reconsidered.

We will review appeals where appropriate and may restore content or access if we determine that the original action was incorrect.

14. Changes to These Guidelines

We may update these Community Guidelines from time to time to reflect changes to Hi, applicable law, or our safety practices.

When we make material changes, we will provide notice where required by applicable law.

The updated Guidelines will include a revised "Last Updated" date.
